Dante's Inferno

This collection reimagines the Italian poem “Dante’s Inferno” by Dante Alighieri, with a twist, that transforms each circle of hell into a mistress from Dante’s past who appears at his bedside as he nears death. Rather than flames and beasts, the collection stages an intimate reckoning: each look embodies a different “circle,” rendered through silhouette, texture, and color. Some mistresses arrive veiled in seduction and denial; others confront him with regret, revelation, or righteous fury. Garments become metaphors for guilt, desire, obsession, and transformation, turning myth into memory. By reframing hell as a personal, psychological confrontation between Dante and the women who shaped or wounded him, the series creates a theatrical, symbolic procession that blurs life, death, and storytelling inviting viewers into a final, revealing passage from sin to self-awareness.
